Organizational Development: Hanover, PA

What’s In An Organization Chart?

A lot actually.

In The E Myth Revisited, Michael Gerber includes this quotation:

All organizations are hierarchical. At each level people serve under those above them. An organization is therefore a structured institution. If it is not structured, it is a mob. Mobs do not get things done, they destroy things.
--Theodore Levitt

A key issue with most businesses is how they are organized: who is responsible for whom and for what. Get control of your business by developing an organization chart and by having your people write performance agreements to accomplish critical organization goals. See us for complete organizational development services in the Greater Hanover, Pennsylvania Area.

Organizational development includes:

1. Analyzing your company from three levels or perspectives:

• Structural (Total Organization) Level
• System or Process Level
• Individual Contributor Level

2. Identifying and correcting disconnects, overlaps, and duplication of effort.
3. Analyzing and improving business processes.
4. Creating an organization chart.
5. Creating a performance management process.
6. Creating a succession plan.
