About Resource Associates Corporation (RAC)

Jim Hall’s associates are primarily the professionals of Resource
Associates Corporation (RAC) of Reading, Pennsylvania.  RAC
has been producing employee and management development
materials for close to 30 years.  They have created processes for
Executive Leadership, Management, Supervision, Customer Service,
Strategic Planning, and so on.  Key features of the approach taken by
RAC in these processes are:

  • Development Sessions

Participants meet weekly for 5 – 10 weeks depending on the process (6 for Customer Service, 10 for major processes such as Leadership, Supervision, Management and Sales).  Each session is 2 – 3 hours in length.  Participants are able to “develop” due to the application and practice time between sessions.  The most important feature of all the RAC processes is that participants MUST bring into the classes specific issues/projects from their respective workplaces.  Each session ends with specific goals and action steps to be completed before the next session.  Public sessions are available in the Hanover area, or can be presented at the client’s place of business.  At client locations, sessions are available during first, second, and/or third shifts.

  • Follow Up Sessions

Groups meet quarterly for one to three quarters (depending on the process) following the last session, to present progress reports on individual and organizational goals.  Additional content is added as needed to these sessions.

  • Audio Cassette/CD Series

Text materials are also provided in audio form, enabling participants to have multiple exposures to the content between sessions.  Five exposures (reading and/or listening) to the content between weekly sessions results in content retention of more than 60%.

  • Action Planner

The Action Planner is the vehicle through which participants assess themselves, their departments and their organizations as a whole.  They are guided through a goal setting and goal achievement process that leads to specific, measurable results.  The Action Planner is what makes it possible for participants to apply course content to their specific personal and working lives.

  • Contact with Facilitator

Participants have continuous contact with the facilitator via phone or email during development sessions, and up to one year following the last session.
